Carrera eyewear became an official partner of the Suicide Squad film promotion and release.

THE CHALLENGE 

Academy Award-winning actor, musician, director and entrepreneur Jared Leto stars as the Joker in Suicide Squad and is also Carrera eyewear’s 2016 brand ambassador. The challenge was to create a strong and integrated partnership between the eyewear CARRERA and the SUICIDE SQUAD suggestion.

THE SOLUTION

Paying tribute to the match with its Maverick collection, Carrera promoted their partnership with both Jared and the movie in style from print to the red carpet premieres. Carrera used approved film artwork to create POS materials for display in-store at over 25,000 targeted retailers as well as for digital and social campaign materials.

THE RESULTS

Carrera eyewear became an official partner of the Suicide Squad film promotion and release. Partnership Opportunities Include: In Store POS Materials, International Promotional Product Prizing, Digital and Social Media Promo + Contest, NY and UK Premiere Sponsorship, Red Carpet Event Coverage, Custom “Squad” Product.

Carrera created custom sunglasses with “ghost” lenses that reveal the official Suicide Squad joker symbol. The special pairs were given to talent, filmmakers, and premiere VIPs.
